Caminhada

Quando eu era mais novo, tinha um filme da Disney que eu adorava!
Minha mãe tinha me dado a fita (sim crianças, naquela época não existiam os DVDs) e eu assistia pelo menos uma vez por semana aquele filme...

O nome do filme? Hércules.

A história de Hércules da Disney, apesar de nada ter a ver com a história contada nas lendas gregas, é muito boa. Provavelmente a melhor que eles já fizeram.

Conta a história de uma pessoa em busca de si mesmo, do seu lugar no mundo.
Essa pessoa não tem noção do que está procurando... E tenta a todo custo se tornar um herói.
Mas ele não queria a glória... Ou a fama...
Ele queria apenas a aceitação da pessoa que ele identificou como sendo seu semelhante (seu pai, Zeus).

E assim somos todos nós... Sempre buscando a aceitação de alguém que consideremos dignos de poder dá-la.

Durante sua jornada, porém, Hércules descobre que o seu lugar no mundo... O lugar onde ele se sentia "em casa"... Não era ao lado dos deuses, e sim ao lado da mulher que ele passou a amar.

E uma das músicas que tocam durante o filme fala exatamente disso.
A música é "Go The Distance" de Michael Bolton. E é uma das músicas mais bonitas que eu já ouvi em toda minha vida.
